Australia’s First National Autism Strategy: What You Need to Know
Australia has launched its first-ever National Autism Strategy, backed by $42.3 million in funding to support Autistic people across the country.
Its funded initiatives aim to strengthen peer support, data collection, research translation, and community inclusion. While it doesn’t have legal force and implementation will vary by region, it lays a solid foundation for long‑term change and improved outcomes for around 300,000 autistic Australians.
