Katarzyna (Kasia) Koska
Kasia is a warm and experienced psychologist with nearly a decade of clinical experience in both public and private mental health settings across Australia. She has a special interest in neurodevelopmental assessments, particularly Autism and ADHD, and is passionate about helping individuals and families gain meaningful insights into neurodivergence.
Her approach to assessment is thoughtful, collaborative, and person-centred, with a strong emphasis on delivering clear, practical feedback that supports understanding, self-advocacy, and informed decision-making. At Mind and Brain Clinic, Kasia is part of the Autism Assessment Team and contributes to comprehensive, multidisciplinary assessments for adults (18+) alongside our psychiatrist.
In addition to her assessment work, Kasia is trained in a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Schema Therapy, and trauma-informed care. She has extensive experience supporting individuals with anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional dysregulation, and perinatal mental health challenges.
Kasia is known for her calm, compassionate presence and her ability to create a safe, inclusive, and collaborative therapeutic space. Her work is grounded in a strong respect for neurodiversity and a genuine curiosity about each person’s unique story.
Kasia brings specialist expertise in integrating diagnostic clarity with a deep appreciation for each individual’s lived experience. She is committed to ensuring the process is respectful, validating, and accessible—particularly for those who may have felt overlooked or misunderstood in the past.
