New ADHD Patients

Mind and Brain is not able to provide acute psychiatric services or arrange hospital admissions.  At this stage we are unable to accept referrals for Autism assessment, medico-legal or forensic assessments, major mental disorders (Schizophrenia, Bipolar or Psychotic Disorders), eating disorders or substance use including cannabis. We do not provide second opinions and do not have the capacity to accept patients who are already receiving ADHD treatment.

Our psychiatrist occasionally accepts new referrals for ADHD assessment, when her capacity allows, for patients aged 21 to 55 who reside in Western Australia.  We prioritize referrals from our local GPs located in the City of Joondalup. Read about our ADHD Assessment process here.

Step 2
Triage process takes around 5 business days, and we will contact you by email about the outcome of your referral. You can proceed to step 3 after you receive our email confirming a time for your initial appointment.
